FinCEN BOI Reporting for all LLC’s

Starting 2024, there is a crucial new requirement affecting LLCs nationwide.

Starting on January 1st, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act mandates that most U.S. entities, including LLCs, must file a Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) report with FinCEN. This initiative aims to combat financial crimes and comes with significant penalties for non-compliance.

Filing Options:

  1. Do It Yourself for Free: The government offers a no-cost option for filing the BOI report directly through their website HERE. While this option is free, it's important to note that the process can be complex and time-consuming.

  2. Simplified Filing with FincenFetch: To ease this process, we've partnered with FincenFetch, offering a streamlined service for just $149.99. Our partnership ensures a hassle-free experience, saving you time and effort.

Important Note: Filing the BOI report does not require an Employer Identification Number (EIN). The key requirement is to accurately list each member who owns or controls your LLC, ensuring full compliance without additional tax identification details.

Deadlines to Remember:

  • LLCs created before 2024 must file by Jan. 1, 2025

  • LLCs created in 2024 have 90 days to file

When filing the report, you will need to enter our FINCEN ID of 3000-0009-4301 which will be done in the company applicant section.

  • If filing through our partner, see example HERE.

  • If filing yourself, see example HERE.

Warning: There is a fine of up to $591 per day for not filing by the deadline

Take Action: Choose the filing option that best suits your needs. For a stress-free experience, go HERE to utilize our partnered service. If you prefer to tackle the filing process independently, we recommend starting early to navigate the government's free filing option which you can find HERE.
