    Who We Are

Dirt Legal is a small group of off-road enthusiasts based in Florida. Our central office is backed by a remote team spread across the country.

Dirt Legal began as a couple of guys who wanted to make their dirt bikes street legal. We had so many questions about the process, from the costs and fees to the proper paperwork involved, and we struggled to find answers anywhere. Time and stress stacked up fast. We soon realized why there was such a stigma of hassle around street legal conversions, and because we were on a limited budget we were constantly worried about making costly mistakes. Once we figured it all out, we started offering our first conversion service designed to give other enthusiasts a simple and stress-free way to get street legal.

In the office we provide a variety of ways to relax and have fun. This includes trashsketball, ping pong, pickleball, fooseball, video games and dirt bikes. Come work for Dirt Legal and experience the best work life balance in an office.

  • We are proud to work with a diverse group of remote writers who create compelling, insightful, and entirely original content. If you’ve liked what you’ve read on our blog so far, we’d love to hear from you.

    What you can expect:

    • Your voice will show. We know how disappointing it is to have your best jokes edited out. At Dirt Legal, we will do our best to ensure your personality and writing style hit the page. What’s more, all writers at Dirt Legal are given free control over the content of their bio - it appears at the bottom of every article they write or collaborate on.

    • Work when and where you want. Write from your apartment, your van, or a campsite picnic table with no specific times or days required.

    • No SEO experience needed. Never written for ranks? That’s okay! We’re happy to teach you the unique approach to SEO that works best for us.

    What we’re looking for:

    • Quality over quantity. You can commit to 30-40 hours per week spent writing quality articles, not the most you can crank out.

    • Solid fundamentals. You understand spelling, grammar, and punctuation at the level of a fluent English speaker.

    • Related knowledge. That could be hobbyist or professional wrenching, buying and selling vehicles, or powersports experience – something to do with vehicles.

    • Flexibility. We’re not here to tell you our way is the right way or even the best way, but we know what works for us and would expect you to mesh your style with ours.

Pay is based on quality. In short, we pay journalistic rates, not content mill rates.
